Electrical and magnetic conductivity

The METALSCOPE [MI-LAB 2] is a mobile hand-held device for measuring the electrical and magnetic conductivity of non-ferrous and ferrous alloys. In addition, you can determine the ferrite content of austenitic and martensitic alloys. A combined eddy current-magnetic inductive method is used for testing. This non-destructive and non-contact measuring principle tolerates surface roughness and plastic coatings up to 1,000 μm thick.
