Description
- Application area
XRF Analysis of Metals
X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) is used in quality inspection and in the context of damage investigations. The main field of application is the analysis of non-metallic and metallic materials such as steel, nickel or cobalt-based alloys, titanium alloys, etc.
- Product description
XRF Analysis of Metals
XRF analysis of metals is a complementary chemical measurement method compared to the detection of physical properties with the METALSCOPE [MI-LAB 2]. This service is free of charge for our customers at any time.
- Working principle
XRF
X-rays incident on the sample interact with the elements contained in the sample, generating element-specific fluorescence. All elements heavier than aluminum can be analyzed.
